Statewide Federal Credit Union -
It's Where You Belong!
Membership in Statewide is offered to the employees and members of the various companies and organizations listed in the "Who Can Join " section. If you have questions about your eligibility for membership, call the Statewide office nearest you.
To join, simply visit or call one of our offices for membership forms. While we would like to allow you to join online, the requirements of the USA Patriot Act, enacted to help prevent movement of money among terrorist organizations, will not allow us to do so. Thank you for your understanding in this vital effort. For the terms and conditions of all our accounts, click here.
Once you become a member of Statewide, you can remain a member even if you change jobs, move, or retire. And your family members can also become members, including your spouse, children, parents, or siblings! Teach your family to save the Credit Union Way.
Should you find that you are not eligible for membership in Statewide, click here to access the "CU MatchUp" program of the Mississippi Credit Union Association, our state trade association. Even if you can't join Statewide, we want you to be able to have access to credit union services, if it's at all possible!
If your organization or employer would like to offer the benefits of credit union services to its members or employees, please contact us. Since credit unions are not open to the general public, each membership group must be approved by Statewide's Board of Directors and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). This is a simple process that normally takes less than 10 days. Contact us to find out how you can offer our services to your associates!
**Important Information About Procedures For Opening A New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
