 CardLock Instructions

You will need:

                         1)  The 16-digit (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) card number of the Statewide cards (debit
or credit) you wish to enroll in CardLock.

                         2)  The last four digits of the Social Security Number of the card’s credit
                          union account owner.

3)   A four-digit security key code that you select to access the CardLock system.  This code, that only you know, will lock or unlock your card.

4)  Any phone numbers you wish to enroll in the system.  These will be only ones recognized by the system when you call to lock or unlock the card, as an additional security feature.

5)  Phone number for the CardLock system:  1-877-CULOCK1
                                                                                            (285-6251)

To enroll your cards in CardLock:

1)    Call CardLock at 1-877-285-6251 or go to www.cucardlock.com .

2)    Follow instructions for setting up your cards, phone numbers, and security code.

3)    You can set up multiple cards (your debit, spouse’s debit, credit, etc.) on the same call.

4)    You can also use this number to add additional cards later or make other changes to your setup, including changing your phone numbers and security code.

To Lock or Unlock your Card:

1)    Call CardLock at 1-877-285-6251 or go to www.cucardlock.com.

2)    Enter your security key code that you established earlier.

3)    Confirm which card (by last four digits of the card number) that you wish to lock or unlock.  (If you have multiple cards enrolled, the system will ask for the last four digits of the card you last accessed on CardLock.)

4)    Press the number indicated to lock or unlock that card.  If locked, your card cannot be used by anyone to make purchases or at ATMs.  It is locked at the system level, so that any requests for access will be denied.

Hints for Using CardLock:

1)    Save the CardLock number in your cell phone contact list.

2)    You can also add the last four digits of your cards in the “notes” section of the detail section of the contact on your cell, in case you lose your card.

3)    DO NOT keep your security code on the contact list with the CardLock number.

4)      If you (or anyone else) do try to use your card while it’s locked, you will most likely receive a call from FALCON, our card fraud detection service, to make you aware that someone has tried to use a blocked card.
